内容記述 | As steps are taken to prepare children for education, we must also better prepare environment for children. This is especially important for young children. Schools and homes as environment must be able to educate all children effectively. To prepare a suitable environment for education, educators should discover a variety of innovative ways to assess childrenユs growth and development. However, it was not until 2007 that the word, ヤassessmentユ would be used in GUIDELINE FOR NURSERY SCHOOL, published by Japanese government. That is, education and care for the young child have been done without ヤassessmentユ for many years. Suddenly, in 2007, Japanese government declared that all day-care-centers should send ヤthe records to support childrenユs growthユ with ヤassessmentユ up to elementary schools. Now is the time to think of ヤassessmentユ to record, review, and make progress in our education and care. Moreover, now is the time to study on practical use of assessment for the young child. |
