 note = {The aim of this study was to develop teaching methods to be used for children as a tool for metacognitive learning method items, thereby cultivating of metacognition. The author first made basic learning method items for the children to make master of during the lessons. In the second stage, actual lessons were given to sixth grade children at an elementary school. Questionnaires on their metacognitive knowledge revealed the following two results.
（１）learning method items used in the lessons are probably accepted by children as metacognitive knowledge.
