Shukutoku University has tried Active Learning including PBL at School of Tourism and Management, College of Business Administration. This study verified how PBL could be effective on those who were involved, especially undergraduates and would be suitable way of learning in tourism education, through the case study of PBL with Kawagoe city. Undergraduates challenged for two years to solve the problems Kawagoe had as a tourist destination. They learned a lot to complete projects, working with various persons.
