 note = {Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology has suggested that universities need Active Learning such as Problem/Project Based Learning （PBL） in order to grow adequate knowledge and abilities as bachelor in undergraduate education.
Shukutoku University has tried Active Learning including PBL at School of Tourism and Management, College of Business Administration. This study verified how PBL could be effective on those who were involved, especially undergraduates and would be suitable way of learning in tourism education, through the case study of PBL with Kawagoe city. Undergraduates challenged for two years to solve the problems Kawagoe had as a tourist destination. They learned a lot to complete projects, working with various persons.
It was confirmed that PBL showed some achievement with undergraduates in the field of fundamental competencies for working persons and it made the learning hours longer before and after classes., 7, 論文},
