| 内容記述 | 本研究の目的は人々の地域活動や地域イベントへの参加が地域愛着意識に与える影響を明らかにすることにある。千葉県在住の20歳～69歳男女1000名を対象にweb調査を行ったところ，居住年数と近所づきあい，地域の祭りへの参加が地域愛着に影響を与えていることが明らかになった。地域でボランティア活動に参加しているか否かは地域愛着とは関連がなく，地域活動で得たものがあると感じているか否かと地域愛着との関連は限定的だった。一方，祭りへの参加は，地域愛着にかなり強い効果を持つことが明らかになった。居住年数や近所づきあいの程度を統制しても，祭りへの参加は地域愛着を高める効果を有していた。 | |||||||||||

| 内容記述 | This study aims to clarify the effect that participation in community activities and events has on place attachment. An online survey of 1,000 men and women aged 20 to 69 years, living in Chiba Prefecture, revealed that length of residence, social interactions with neighbors, and participation in local festivals had an effect on place attachment. Participation in volunteer activities in the community was not related to place attachment; one’s sense of gaining something from them was only slightly related to place attachment. However, participation in local festivals also has a strong effect on place attachment. Even when controlling for the length of residence and level of social interaction with neighbors, participation in local festivals demonstrated increased place attachment. |
